Common questions
Does Simple Sponsors charge a platform fee on sponsorships?
No. Sponsors pay organizers directly per the instructions on the organizer profile (bank, UPI, or the organizer’s own payment link). Simple Sponsors does not take a percentage of the sponsorship and is never in the money flow.
How much does it cost to list an event?
Free. Every organizer starts on the Free plan, which allows one active published event with up to three sponsorship packages. Upgrade to Pro for ₹2,499 a month if you need unlimited events, a featured spot on discovery, and clearer reporting. During launch, all Pro features are free for every organizer until 31 July 2026.
How are events verified?
Every event is checked automatically on publish for completeness and basic policy fit. There is no manual identity or legal review.
How do sponsors pay organizers?
Organizers publish how they want to be paid (bank, UPI, or their own payment link) and sponsors pay them directly. Organizer Pro subscriptions are billed separately through Razorpay.
What happens if a sponsor cancels?
Refunds follow the Simple Sponsors Refund Policy. Cancellations 30 or more days before the event receive a full refund; 7 to 30 days get 50%; less than 7 days receive no refund unless the organizer cancels. Pro subscription cancellations are separate and take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
