• Event listings: event details, images, sponsorship packages, attendee estimates.
• Application data: sponsor proposals, messages, and contact information.
• Payment metadata: Razorpay order, payment and subscription identifiers. We never store card or bank details.
• Usage data: pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser details (collected through Firebase and basic product analytics).

2. How we use it

• Operate the core platform: listings, applications, payments, subscriptions.
• Communicate about your account and platform updates.
• Issue invoices and comply with Indian tax and financial obligations.
• Detect fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
• Improve the platform using grouped summaries that cannot identify you personally.

3. Sharing with third parties

• Razorpay (payments and subscriptions).
• Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, database, authentication).
• Sentry (error monitoring, IP addresses may be processed).
• Email providers used to deliver transactional and subscription notifications.
• We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data retention

We retain user accounts and associated records while the account is active, plus up to seven years after closure, to comply with Indian accounting and tax regulations. Paid invoices and payment logs are kept for as long as required by law.

5. Your rights

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data from your profile.
• Request deletion of personal data, subject to lawful retention requirements.
• Export your profile and application data.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time (transactional emails cannot be disabled while an account is active).

7. Children

Simple Sponsors is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
